7 day dresser/weekender
The 7 Day Dresser is a contemporary interpretation of an 18 century semainier form that originated in France, where copious layers of undergarments were kept in individual drawers for each day of the week. The seven identical drawer boxes are housed in an open frame that allows them to be seen from all sides and removed from the frame completely. A single diagonal brace on the back offers structure and a graphic backstop for the drawers. The Weekender is a compact three drawer version that can be used as a bedside table or anywhere compact storage is needed.
