Heidi Earnshaw Design is a small studio in Eastern Ontario, Canada with a focus on residential wood furniture and functional objects. Characterized by clean lines and careful detailing, Heidiʼs work is inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian woodworking, Shaker furniture, mid century modernism and traditional craftsmanship. Re-imagining historical and archetypal forms for a contemporary context, she creates pieces that are beautiful, useful and durable backdrops for the rituals of everyday life. Heidi’s work has been exhibited in Canada and the US and has been recognized through the Toronto Arts Council, the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts.
